My mom has diabetes about 2 years ago. At that point of time, her glucose level was around 11. She has to take medication twice a day, morning and night. She’s supposed to control her diet but she never do so. And I can’t keep an eye on her as we are not staying together. Last July, I brought her to do a blood test. The result shows her glucose level = 17.1 and cholesterol = 6.5. She also has high blood pressure. Once you have diabetic, your cholesterol and blood pressure will increase as well. My mom biggest problem is she can’t control her diet. She some more ate 2 durians even she knew that her glucose level is 17.1 .
